Illustration commission for a private client ("Stealth"). I was asked to paint a scene from a written short story.

The scene depicts a leviathan carrying a damaged ship atop their back and behind their wing, saving it from a violent thunderstorm. There are large pillards of stone along the coast line against which the ship could have crashed without the leviathan's help.

The leviathan's design was provided by the client.
