Equinoth

Fan-made species for Monster Hunter.

A small herbivore that looks like a reptile-horse. Some live in the wild, while others were domesticated by civilians to serve for transportation, but not for hunting (unlike Palamute). Thanks to breeding, many different colors of coat exist. They're among the fastest domesticated herbivores, but are also expensive; if someone needs an Equinoth punctually they may rent one from the Guild stables.
